Reading Notes: Nursery Rhymes

Tales The Nursery Rhyme Book edited by Andrew Lang and illustrated by L. Leslie Brooke (1897):
One of the rhymes had a style of repeating the ending word 3 times in the last sentence of a 3 line stanza. The repeating words all rhymed. 
Another one had 4 line stanzas and the first 2 lines rhymed and the last two lines rhymed. It was only 2 stanzas long. 

Riddles The Nursery Rhyme Book edited by Andrew Lang and illustrated by L. Leslie Brooke (1897):
The rhymes would describe something without saying the word in order to get the readers to get what they are writing about.
Every other line rhyming.
Humpty dumpty is an example.
